Child Behaviour: You Are What You Eat
From time to time I read Evolutionary Psychiatry because I find it interesting as she has the same line of thought as mine with regards to nutrition and health. Since her subject is mostly about the science of mental health issues, it usually takes me several reads to digest and understand what is written.
Anyway, I see and hear more and more modern children who have some degree of mental health problems, and there seems to be evidence that a bad and nutritionally poor diet can be related to create such conditions.
I always try to feed my boys undustrialised process unhealthy food as little as possible. It's impossible to totally not to. I'm not a perfect mother but I do try my best and feed them what you call "FOOD" most of the time. I wish Wilkie could dislike toast for brekkie and eat fruit and yoghurt instead. He IS a very picky eater and that could either be good or bad.
Between Wilkie and Fredi, the 2nd one is a much healthier eater, very primal and similar to the Perfect Health Diet template. Wilkie isn't that bad but he could do better. But I am grateful my boys are normal, healthy and do not have mental problems or bad behaviour that could be the result of a bad diet.
