Roy Does Jamie's Tarte Tartin

Inspired by Jamie Oliver Does series, in which he travelled to the French Pyrenees, Roy was attracted to one of Jamie's recipes that is traditional in France: the world famous Tarte Tartin.

Roy did the apple tarte, after hunting down Calvados, one of the key ingredients that makes it kick.

The result was rustic, yet absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful with cream since it was what we had when Roy made it. Definitely a keeper. 

Granted, it's carby, but just a small slice with loads of cream are enough to satisfy me.
