Problems with Having 2 PowerBooks

Roy had mistakenly took my Powerbook to school this morning. I realised it right after seeing him off when I noticed the other PowerBook at home looked somewhat "stained". I keep mine clean and shiny most of the time (bacause I'm anal and proud of it) while Roy is just too occupied to worry about it he only cleans it once in a while.

I lifted the flap, looked at the screen and lo, it was Roy's.

I rang his keitai up immediately and looked out of the window as I could see him walking leisurely not too far a distance away. He couldn't hear his keitai ringing as he's got his earphones on listening to the iPod. And there I was cursing and praying that he'll hear the ringing tone and pick the bloody phone up! I wanted him to make a u-turn so that he doesn't have to walk back far.

I kept ringing several times, but Roy being Roy, is all in his own world when listening to the iPod and just walked on. When he eventually answered the phone, of course he had very well reached the office.

Roy suggested walking all the way back home to pick his PowerBook up (feeling guilty more like), but I insisted that I come round the office instead.

Because I'm such a nice and understanding wife ;-)

Ah, this is where personalizing your laptop becomes an expression of creativity: Stickers, perhaps? A clear cover showing your favorite photo (arranged to be right side up when lide is open?)

A switched laptop is (hopefully?) not a big deal with a significant other, but what if it had been a business associate, or (gasp) pointy-haired Boss?

Oh yeah, now my husband has put a little Dilbert sticker on a corner of his PB.
